Summer Camp 2025
DREAMS Summer Camp is a unique, community-focused camp that blends fun, hands-on learning with career exploration and service. Designed to help youth discover local job opportunities, the camp offers engaging experiences that connect participants with real-world workplaces and community service projects. This year's highlights included exciting visits to the Phoenix International Airport, the History Museum, Wildlife World Zoo, Mesa Airport, ASU East Campus, and Carl’s Damaged Pets. Campers also gave back by volunteering at Feed My Starving Children. Through these immersive activities, DREAMS empowers young people to explore careers, build life skills, and make a positive impact in their community.
Local and Wildlife
Campers had the opportunity to learn about local animal outreach programs, including Carl's Damaged Pets, and discovered how they can get involved in supporting animals in need. They also explored the world of exotic pets and went behind the scenes at the Wildlife World Zoo to understand the care and responsibility involved in looking after a variety of animals. This hands-on learning experience sparked a deeper appreciation for animal welfare and community involvement.

Transportation Training
Campers had a fun and educational experience learning how to navigate the local transit system. They practiced riding the Metro city bus, explored the Mesa A-Line Tram, and took a trip on the PHX Sky Train. This hands-on activity helped build independence and real-world travel skills while exploring different parts of the city.

Community Outreach
Campers had the chance to make a meaningful impact by participating in outreach projects like Feed My Starving Children. This hands-on experience allowed them to contribute to a cause they care about, giving back to the community while learning the importance of service and compassion.
