Douglas Prentice

Co-Founder

Douglas Prentice has been a dedicated advocate and professional in high school transition programs since 1998. He holds a bachelor's degree in Special Education, graduating Summa Cum Laude, as well as a master's degree in Counseling from Northern Arizona University and a second master's degree in Special Education with an emphasis in Transition from the University of Kansas.


From 1998 to 2007, Douglas served as the Youth Transition Program (YTP) Coordinator at Highland High School in the Gilbert School District. He then took on the role of District Transition Coordinator for the Transition from School to Work (TSW) program in Mesa Public Schools from 2007 to 2016. From 2016 to 2023, he continued this important work in the Tempe Union High School District, again serving as the TSW Coordinator.
